1. Overview of Fire Damper
1.1
Fire dampers are mainly installed in ventilation and air‑conditioning ductwork. When flue‑gas temperature inside duct reaches 70 ℃, the fusible link triggers automatic damper closure to prevent fire spread along duct system. Some models are equipped with air‑volume adjustment function. Available in multiple duct sizes including rectangular and round types; adjustable‑opening blades enable air‑flow control for duct pipelines. Suitable for general ventilation and air‑conditioning duct systems.
‑ Standard Fire Damper: Auto‑close at 70 ℃ with air‑volume adjustment function, for main and branch ventilation‑AC ducts. ‑ Signal‑feedback Fire Damper: Sends electric signal upon damper closure for fire‑control system connection. ‑ Manual‑reset Fire Damper: Requires on‑site manual reset after thermal closure.
1.2 Product Classification
‑ By structural shape: Rectangular type, Round type. ‑ By functional configuration: ‑ Standard Type: 70 ℃ thermal shut‑off with air‑volume adjustment. ‑ Signal‑feedback Type: 70 ℃ shut‑off with position signal output. ‑ Manual‑reset Type: Manual reset required after thermal closure.
2. Operating Conditions for Fire Damper
Operating temperature: ‑20 ℃ ~ +80 ℃; short‑term operating temperature for fusible‑link action at 70 ℃. Relative humidity: less than 90%. Medium condition: Air medium for ventilation and air‑conditioning ducts.
Power supply: DC24V for signal‑feedback models.
3. Fire Damper Configuration
3.1 Standard Components
‑ Damper body ‑ Blade assembly ‑ 70 ℃ thermal fusible link ‑ Connecting flange
3.2 Optional Accessories (please specify requirements upon order)
‑ Position feedback device ‑ Actuator ‑ Sealing gasket
4. Manufacturing Process of Fire Damper
4.1
Damper body and blades are fabricated from galvanized steel sheet. Blades are reinforced with stiffeners for higher rigidity. Rotating shafts are fitted with wear‑resistant bushings for smooth opening and closing. Thermal fusible links are calibrated in compliance with fire‑protection standards to ensure reliable actuation at 70 ℃.
4.2
Damper flange is integrally bent to form flat mating surface for easy duct connection.
