1. Overview of Double Deflection Grille

1.1

Double deflection grille is general‑purpose HVAC terminal grille, widely used for air supply of central air‑conditioning systems, matching fan‑coil units and air‑handling units, mounted on ceiling or side‑wall. It is equipped with two sets of mutually perpendicular blades which can be manually adjusted independently. Outer blades adjust horizontal airflow direction, inner blades adjust vertical airflow direction. Air diffusion angle and throw distance can be adjusted in four directions for both cold and hot air supply. Opposed‑blade volume damper can be fitted at rear side for airflow regulation. Mainly used as supply air grille, also applicable for return air. Mostly rectangular shape. Normally made of aluminum alloy profile; galvanized steel or stainless steel are optional。

4. Manufacturing Process of Double Deflection Grille

4.1

Aluminum grille is fabricated by aluminum profile cutting and riveting. Galvanized‑steel and stainless‑steel versions adopt sheet‑metal bending. Outer and inner blades are fitted with wear‑resistant nylon bushings for independent smooth adjustment. Hinged type equipped with spring latch for easy opening. Surface treatments include electrostatic powder‑coating and anodizing with custom colors available。
